Yoggie Internet Security

It is very clear that Internet security on PCs of today is very important. Many PC users keep trying to find a well built pack that would set their worries away, but it's rather difficult since each security suite comes with its own list of services and the running of each application comes with a smal requirement from system resources. Not all security suits offer antispam security or accurate real-time protection.

This is where Yoggie Internet Security (presented at CES 2008) comes into place - it works as a filter for all incoming or outgoing connections. It's a Linux set-up - a computer in miniature - that connects to yours through an USB port and acts like a filter for the internet connection. Of course, it comes with specialised drivers that redirect all the network traffic through the USB stick. The stick works like a tiny computer: it has a CPU and memory that are checking the e-mails and files from your computer in order to keep your computing activities safe. It's needless to say - you can uninstall the software internet security that you are currently using if you decide to buy this gadget ($100) - you just plug it in and then forget about it - it updates itself through the Internet connection (you get a 3-year subscription) and the security settings can be customized.
