Yahoo Last Gadget Standing Winners Announced

Yahoo finally announced the winners of the annual Yahoo! Tech Last Gadget Standing competition hosted at CES 2008, where 10 coolest gadgets get all the attention from the public that has to choose from hundreds of innovations.


The winners are the products considered to be in trends with the latest technologies and customers’ requirements:

- Asus Eee PC 4G available at $399, with a 7-inch display, Linux OS and a useful set of applications;
- Verizon LG Voyager cell phone with touch-sensitive display and QWERTY keyboard type;

- Dash Express Internet-connected GPS device that delivers real-time traffic conditions using data transferred by Dash users;
- Sansa TakeTV that uses a cradle with RCA and S-Video plugs to allow you store TV programs on a USB memory stick;

- iLooj robotic gutter cleaner from iRobot capable to clean a stretch of gutter in 10 minutes;

- TDP-EW25U wireless DLP projector from Toshiba that’s capable to produce images casting 41 feet or 1.6 feet, build 60-inch images and with HD video support;

- Logitech DiNovo wireless keyboard;

- Golf Launchpad Tour golf simulation input device from Electric-Spin that facilitates gold players to play the game with their clubs from home;

- Fujitsu U810 WWAN UMPC with state-of-the-art connectivity.

The gadget that caught all visitors’ eyes and that won the competition was the Eye-Fi Memory Card considered to be the hottest product with the most staying power, which comes with a 2GB memory card for transferring pictures from cameras to Mac or PC or a popular photo-sharing website.
