I’m not much into this video eyewear trend right now because even if the technology is advanced enabling high-quality videos, the eyeglasses look is not aesthetic, at least in my opinion, but is good to know that starting this Spring we’ll have in stores an improved pair of video eyeglasses developed by Vuzix. These feature a sunglass design with see-through capability and built-in noise-isolating earphones, all weighting just 60 grams.



Packed with a 60-inch video display, Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality, the Vuzix Wrap 920AV model prepared for this year’s CES edition in Las Vegas, gives you the feeling you are watching the 60-inch screen from 9 feet away, and you can also watch 3D video content and feel right there in the action.



The eyewear gadget uses an optional Bluetooth 6-Degree of Freedom tracking sensor, Quantum Optics Technology, AMLCD displays, an optional USB-powered Stereo Camera Pair, the Inter-Pupillary Distance system for eye separation adjustment, and optional prescription lens for those of you wearing prescription glasses. You can use them continuously for up to six hours with two AA batteries and adjust on-screen setting for best viewing experience. Supported devices include portable media players, cell phones, video cameras, game consoles, digital cameras, DVD players and computers with S-Video.
