People don’t seem to have the great amount of eco-friendly devices up to their throats, even if there are more and more waiting to be released in the market. It’s a good thing, of course, because this can be considered an interest concerning the environment by the both manufacturers and customers.

In the given context, these new wireless music headphones are perfect for the new socially responsible world that we live in today. Called Q-Sound, the headphones were especially designed for the DAPs, also known as Digital Audio Players.

The great thing about them is that they are a mixture between the headphones, on one hand, and the headband, on the other hand, which makes it more easier for them to charge from the sun, due to the continuous exposure. The headband is made of a flexible plastic that includes the silicon solar cells designed to absorb the rays of light.

The Q-Sound is based on the Bluetooth technology, so that the user can connect the headphones to any Bluetooth-enabled device that he/she might own, from MP3 players to cell phones. If the device doesn’t have Bluetooth on board, you can always establish a connection through wires, using the 3.5 mm jack.

Designed by engineering student Shepeleff Stephen, these wireless music headphones are able to provide approximately 2.67 hours of operation, when the volume is maximum, after only one hour of sunlight charging. You will also have the possibility to use the headphones with two removable batteries, both NiMH and rechargeable, that have a capacity of 800mAh and an operating voltage of 1.2V. You can use them with these batteries for approximately 40 hours.
