Announced at the beginning of this year and released in stores this spring, the HTC P3470 is a smart cell phone packed with high-end technologies, an elegant design characterizing all the other HTC handsets, plus built-in GPS module for enhanced navigation guides.
You can benefit from the TomTom NAVIGATOR or CoPilot LIVE maps software on the streets or while driving, and receive the best routes to your destinations, 2D/3D and Driver Sfety displays, up to 10 addresses in one trip, automatic re-routing, saving preferences, and additional information such as Estimated Time of Arrival and distance to destination.

The handset measures 108 x 58.3 x 15.7 inches at 122 grams and sports a large 2.8-inch LCD of 65K colors with touch screen with handwriting recognition. As an alternative, you can use the physical buttons including the 4-way navigation wheel with Enter button to navigate through the phone’s menus.
It supports external memory addition via a microSD card slot in which you can store MP3 songs, videos, pictures and other media, in addition to the 128MB RAM and 256 MB ROM phone’s memory.

The phone supports also wireless file transfers in short range via the Bluetooth 2.0 technology, and PC connectivity via miniUSB, in case you have some nice pictures you want to set as background on the home screen.
Users can send and receive emails, chat online, browse the web, record voice albums, play Java games, and talk for up to 5 hours and 50 minutes. HTC P3470 has a standby time of up to 240 hours using a standard Li-Ion 1100mAh rechargeable battery.

Another important functionality is the built-in digital camera of 2 megapixels with macro, which captures images at resolutions up to 1600 x 1200 pixels, and records videos on the go.
