When will the BeoSound 3 hit the home accessory stores?

Here’s what we’re told on the Bang & Olufsen: “Though the online event is over, this was only the beginning! A row of activities related to BeoSound 3 will run online, when we actually launch this unique product. At this point we can reveal that there will be several interesting prize draws, an updated eCard engine with BeoSound 3 as the main feature and a chance for you to get truly creative with BeoSound 3 – for a chance to win one of our prizes.”

It sounds quite interesting, even if we’re talking about a product that articles were written about a couple of years ago (I found, for example, one that is dated with 2005, which is loooong time ago). In the given context, trying to find this product with information about the price and availability, it was an impossible mission, unfortunately. Not to mention the fact that the paragraph above has no date whatsoever to let me know when the online event took place.
The point is BeoSound 3, designed by Bang & Olufsen, is a unique device that isn’t to be found in home accessory stores, even if it’s quite interesting. The BeoSound 3 packs functions like a portable radio, a clock and a digital audio player, which aren’t impressive or revolutionary. But it’s the design that counts. And we should thank its designer for that, David Lewis.

In addition, there’s a full-range loudspeaker that is integrated in the device. The BeoSound 3 runs on a rechargeable battery and you won’t be bothered by all sorts of cables or plugs.
