What is your opinion about Green Technology?

A recent survey conducted by EcoAlign about customers’ perception related to green products, services and technology, revealed that 46% of the people interviewed are using at least one green technology type, and those that really believe in the process are people of 55 and over years old.

The survey is called EcoPinion and is the second one conducted by the strategic marketing agency focused on the environment and energy.
It was meant to gather statistics about people’s perception around green technologies, and the conclusion was that there is an important gap between willingness and customer value perceptions around offerings.

Unfortunately people believe that a significant number of green technology-based products and services are expensive, difficult to maintain and unappealing.
46% of the people interviewed that own some form of green technology were actually more positive than those that have not adopted yet this type of products.

“As Kermit the Frog sang, it’s not easy being green,” says Andrea Fabbri, COO and Chief Marketing Officer. “Vendors of green products and services have a lot of work to do to educate and promote their value proposition.”

The customers were also asked if they feel some concern if their neighbors should adopt forms of green tech, and they’ve answered “no”, but 39% said “yes” and they’ve pointed out the appearance and safety as the most important reasons.
