Weather Light

Weather Light

Apparently, more and more people need to stay informed on the daily weather forecast, and I’m not referring only to the UK guys. All that greenhouse craze seems to have reminded people about the importance of the weather forecasts, and I have to admit, there are some weird changes with the general climate. Here to help us with up-to-date weather reports is the Oregon Scientific team, which presents yet another forecasting gizmo.

It’s called the Weather Light and it resembles an elongated egg-like thingy. It keeps you informed on the weather coming up in the next 24 hours, assaulting you with tips about predictions and all sorts of possibilities. The Weather Light itself receives that valuable data from a wireless module you place outside.

Oregon Scientific would like us to wave our hand in front of this orb of insight in order to switch between atomically-adjusted time, and indoor and outdoor temperatures. However, if you find all that hand waving ludicrous, you can always set its display to automatically toggle between the various data. If that still proves to be too much for you, you can go outside and take a wild guess at temperatures, wind and all that stuff yourself.

The Weather Light is already available for only $67.99.
