“Vision” Concept

Digital video recorders come in pretty compact shapes as of lately, and even those capable of 1080p video captures may come in sizes no bigger than a cellphone. So you don’t have to worry about portability, but you still need some software to edit the data, hence a computer. With the new “Video” device, all you need is a TV for editing.

According to Yankodesign, the Video concept device comprises two major components: the video recorder itself as well as a docking station that is hooked up to a TV. The video recorder stores everything you record digitally, and whenever you dock it, you can unlock an entire array of editing options, introducing new audio and special effects thanks to a touch screen interface found on the video recorder.

After you’re done editing and you’re happy with the resulting edited movie, you can burn it onto a DVD disc and show it to your friends and family. The Video concept was envisioned by Jonas Buck, who apparently is a fan of all things Apple.
