verykool i250 - Best Mobile Phone in Latin America
We’ve discovered the Verykool mobile phones from the Mobile World Congress 2008 which took place in February in Spain. At the trade show, InfoSonics unveiled its cool cell phones such as the i700, the first Verykool phone prepared to ship to South Africa. Now we’ll see a new addition to this cool cell phones line called Verykool i250, a bar type handset with touchscreen interface accessible via a stylus pen.

This is a stylish phone coming with 5 fashionable colored interchangeable faceplates, with built-in 2MP digital camera for pictures and video recording, as well as web camera functionality when connected to your computer.
It is a quad band and sports the 2.4-inch TFT display, while integrating Bluetooth technology, USB, email, Java, web browsing, external memory support, up to 1,000 phone book entries, games, MP3 player, sound recorder, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
In addition to GPRS and EDGE connectivity types, Verykool i250 has Real Tones, multiple file format support for video and audio media, speakerphone, and 3 hours of talk time with 200 hours of standby. It measures 103 x 51 x 14.7 mm at 90.7 grams.

This cell phone was named the Best Mobile Phone at the 10th annual edition PC World Latin America Awards 2008 in Miami on September 25, a prestigious awards ceremony in the Latin IT Industry, where the winners are the best customer electronic products and solutions.
Verykool i250 is a cool cell phone in Latin America with a functional design, superb image quality and the web camera feature. These were the key elements that brought it the Best Cell Phone award.

“This award demonstrates our success in developing feature rich and innovative products at attractive price points for our target markets,” said Joseph Ram, President and Chief Executive Officer of InfoSonics. “As a proprietary offering for InfoSonics, the verykool i250 has generated positive initial feedback from our carrier customers, and should help to solidify our potential as a ‘rising star’ in a very competitive marketplace.”
