Ultraslim Digital Voice Recorder
Posted by: Bogdan Alex in Gadgets

The miniaturization process continually shrinks most of our tools and devices. This is generally a good idea, but I can’t stand it when this applies to cell-phone displays. I mean, sure, the casing can get pretty small but why on earth would we need smaller displays? If we care about our eyes, we should be integrating some holographic displays. Anyway, as I was saying, the miniaturization process enables us to transform otherwise bulky devices into ultraportable pocket-sized stuff, which sometimes may get so thin that it could cut clear through your flesh. Like this voice recorder right here.
The Ultra-thin Digital Voice Recorder is roughly the size of a credit card, measuring in at just 6.5 millimeters in thickness. Pretty compact, but the recorder still offers some nice features. How about 1GB of built-in storage space, a flip-out USB connector, and flush-mounted controls? And that’s not all. It can also be used as a MP3 player and USB flash drive. OK, maybe it doesn’t have double mics to record in stereo, butat least it can record in high quality WAV file format and files can be easily copied or deleted just as with a standard USB storage device.
Oh yeah, it weighs 36g and offers a 69-hour recording time, plus built-in Li-Ion battery that is rechargeable via USB connection. All these for only $69.99. Head over to ThinkGeek’s store and find out more info about the recorder.
