Treating sore muscles with the EMS mouse
Published by Maria Mihale, on Jun 12 2009, in the categories: Gadgets
A couple of months ago I had a very serious problem with some sore muscles that I couldn’t heal as much as I tried, even if I went from a doctor to another and got all sorts of opinions. All of them mentioned stress as one of the reason my muscles were so painful and the conclusion was that I had to do something with my mood and then with my physical shape.

Unfortunately, I didn’t have the EMS mouse at my disposal, a gadget that is said to do wonders. The mouse looks just like any other mouse that you might have seen before and it has a regular design that doesn’t give you a hint about the other stuff it comes with. The cord of this USB optical mouse is provided with a connector that you can plug in a set if EMS pads (also known as Electrical Muscle Stimulation).
Then, just attach those pads to those parts of your body that are sore and after that the only thing you’re supposed to do is to just keep under control the stimulation levels. There are some dedicated buttons placed on the side of the mouse to help you in this respect.
This means from now on you’ll be having your own massage therapy session at your desk and you won’t have to leave your work in order to treat your sore muscles. Available only in Japan, being offered by Thanko, the mouse costs approximately $58.
