There are so many LCD monitors to choose from nowadays, that the news about a company releasing one on the market is somehow the least interesting that a person can run into. But if I told you that the certain company is Samsung, I suppose you’ll be patient enough to listen to what I’ve got to say, right?

It seems that the South Korean manufacturer decided to release a trio of brand new 70-inch monitors, which are part of the 70 Series Monitors, being called P2070, P2370 and P2370HD. The first two are said to come with slim LCD monitors that will measure 30 millimeters in depth, while the third one, the P2370HD will measure approximately 65.5 millimeters. On the other hand, they will all feature the Touch of Color (ToC) design, which is Samsung branded.

The three Samsung LCD monitors come equipped with a dynamic contrast ratio of 50,000:1, which is designed to enable deep and rich colors, 2ms (GTG) video response that is meant to minimize the blur for those times when you decide to watch sports, the crystal-like bezel frame which, in combination with ToC, is a great help when it comes to reducing the light and glare, integrated Starlight Touch Controls in the terms of an On Screen Display (also known as OSD) that are activated by a single touch and disappear after a period of time.

Unfortunately, the information concerning the precise release date and the price of these Samsung LCD monitors is unknown for the moment. But taking into consideration the fact that they come with all sorts of eco-friendly features, you shouldn’t expect it to be too cheap. For example, they will be provided with a reduced energy consumption feature, which means that you’ll be able to save approximately 33% of the power you’d be using with a standard monitor.
