The New Nokia N95 8GB storage version

The New Nokia N95 8GB storage version

The mobile phones are on a race against all the other gadgets that provide multimedia entertainment. Each new version of a branded phone must definitely own multimedia capabilities, including videos and mp3 listening. N95 8GB makes no exception and has just been launched.

The N95 series from Nokia does not remain happy with just multimedia, it has also advanced GPS capabilities and videogames (like the previous N95 version). The “extra” storage space is what makes this model different from the previous N95: the original one had 4GB of memory but only with the help of a memory stick with that storage space. The new N95 has 8GB of internal memory, but the additional card slot has been removed which is quite a shame as there will be soon some 16GB memory sticks – and then the original N95 will be much better to have, with all the software and firmware updates. The phone has all the N-gage gaming features and the buyers from Europe will get a preloaded version of the Spiderman 3 game.

The camera of the phone has 5 MP, 2592 x 1944 pixels, Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus, video(VGA 30fps), flash, and there is even a secondary CIF videocall camera. The Assisted GPS module is giving the handset precise points of the location through the network in order to make up for the weak satellite signal. Among other features there are: Installed Maps application covering over 100 countries, Dual slide design, Java MIDP 2.0, MP3/AAC/AAC+/eAAC+/WMA player, 3.5 mm audio output jack, TV out, Stereo FM Radio, Organizer, Office document viewer, T9, Push to talk, Voice dial/memo and Built-in hands-free. The price will be about €560 ($794/L390).
