And for all the ass-hats who think they're smarter than me and can make me realize the mistakes of my logic and thinking, don't waste your time cussing me out on this site, because I'm never coming back to read this, and nobody else gives a rat's ass.

Go do something useful with your life.

They've got this great new invention for listening to music on CDs AND MP3 format. It's called a computer. Some of the newer ones you can actually carry around with you wherever you go! And best of all, you can play DVDs in them too! Some of the really cool ones have internet access and bluetooth connectivity, so you can get MP3s whenever you want, and share them with your friends!

I actually had a portable CD-player like this in the early 90s. It was from SONY, and was meant for playing small 3-inch mini-CDs. While playing these, you couldn't see the CD - but when you pulled a switch under, you could play ordinary CDs, which would stick out. Almost like the pics above... It was actually pretty cool. You couldn't carry it around though, but was great bringing on vacation etc. And I didn't hurt myself while spinning ordinary CDs. ;-)

I think this would be a great concept, as long as you're able to also rip the CDs with the device. :-))
