Luxeed is a cool gadget consisting of a dynamic keyboard with LED-illuminated keys and a separate numeric keypad. Unlike the the $1,500 Optimus Maximus that uses OLED technology instead of LEDs, Luxeed Dynamic Pixel LED Keyboard available at ThinkGeek.comallows you to customize each key with your favorite light color, so when you press one, to show its individual light.




It has 430 LED lights and you could customize all in a cool animated rainbow or individually, to be easier to remember action game commands. Other things you could play with include creating custom illuminated key layouts and quickly switch between them with 4 preset buttons, saving key layouts on your hard drive and recall them later, or connect the keypad and use both.
Luxeed super slim illuminated keyboard measures 15 x 7.5 x 1 inches at 793 grams and the keypad 4.25 x 7.5 x 1 inches, being compatible with all operating systems after you install the software, just that it will light up only with Windows XP or Vista. Together they have a price of $199.99.

The keyboard is available in 2 colors, white and black, and features program keys, brightness adjustment keys, multimedia keys, totalizing 87 general keys and 11 special keys. There is also an ergonomic and soft urethane coated wrist-rest. It is compatible with USB 1.0 and 2.0, has a cable length of 1,500 mm and uses 2W power consumption.
You can choose between the US layout, UK layout or English/Korean.
