Everybody likes to listen to music. In our days, there are a lot of devices which have music capacities like mobile phones, CD-Players, FM Radios and even laptops and computers. But, the most practical and popular music device is a MP3 Player. Even if these devices can only play music, the quality of sound will not be evened by any other device.  On the market you can find a lot of models of MP3 Players, each giving a lot of features to satisfy every demanding customer. For this review we chose a Sony MP3 player which has proven to be the best device in its category: the Sony E-Series Walkman.

The Sony E-Series Walkman, like its predecessors, comes with a fairly standard design. It comes with a case made of resistant plastic with only 44 x 8 x 83 mm in dimensions and 50 grams in weight. Perhaps you are thinking why an MP3 player has these dimensions. Well, the Sony E-Series Walkman comes with a 2 inch display, thing which certainly contributes at the increased size of the case. The case is available in any color you want so you can customize it by your preferences. As we said, the front side is occupied by a 2 inch display and below it, you will see the main playback controls, an option key (which brings up some contextual menus), a back / home key and a five-way control pad which helps you navigate in the menu. On the sides, like all MP3 Players, this model has a volume rocker, a hold switch, a standard 3.5 mm jack and a standard miniUSB port. These buttons are very responsive so you will not have problems in pressing them.

The 2 inch LCD TFT display has a native resolution of 240 x 320 inches and it supports 262K colors. With a powerful display like it you will be able to see clear images with a nice color quality. But why does an MP3 Player need a LCD TFT display? Equipped with this display, the Sony E-Series Walkman is not only able to play music. You can watch movies or simply view some photos during your free-time. Being one of the best MP3 players on the market, the Sony E-Series Walkman comes with a lot of supported audio and video formats. For audio, it supports MP3, WMA, AAC, LPCM, eAAC+ and WAV formats, almost all existent audio formats in the world. As we said, being capable to play videos it supports MPEG-4, H.264 / AVC and WMV formats. If you want to view some photos, it supports only the most popular format: JPEG. To be able to store all your favorite music, movies or pictures, this Sony MP3 Player comes with 8 GB of free space. If you are not satisfied by that, you can choose a second model of Sony E-Series Walkman which has 16 GB of free space, but it has a high price than this model presented here.

The sound quality, being one of the most important aspects for Sony Walkman models, is impeccable. With a lot of sound settings and a great balance between bass and treble, you will be capable to listen to the best music ever. Anyway, if you are interested in battery life, this Sony MP3 Player comes with a Li-Ion battery (which can be charged via miniUSB) capable to keep it on for 45 hours. So, if you are looking for a MP3 Player and don’t know what to choose we recommend this model available at a price of $80.
