SF Movies Become Real with Phillips Dynamic Daylight Window

Remember those SF movies where it was possible to change the look and feel of a room by simply using a remote control or gesture?
Philips is the one that made it possible inventing a concept called Dynamic Daylight Window, a “window†that lets you set how bright the light in your room to be, but the most stunning thing is that it lets you change the landscape seen through the windows.
You can change the ski’s color or the moment of the day, almost anything is possible with this new technology.
According to Phillips and other specialists, this innovation would have great applicability in future high-tech hotels and even in wealthy people’s homes.
We don’t know yet how this technology functions but it happens on a large display and it probably based on more than one technology.
Some say that the window might consist of transparent displays that allow a direct visualization through them, and in the same time they contribute at the brightness adjustment and the shutter effect.
This is the video that demonstrates the concept.
