As Coolest Gadgets described it, the Seiko Slimstick is an advnaced version of the classic pedometers meat to count all your steps during a day by registering your shakes.
This is a very inaccurate method so other companies came out with new improved models.

I would say that Seiko Slimstick is more than an improved pedometer because it counts your burned calories, the number of steps took, and the amount of time you have been moving during the day.
Other functions include clock and target settings.

It was designed by Kaori Terashima from Seiko Instruments and unfortunately it is available only in Japan at the moment at a price of about $65, in the following colors: Pink, Silver and Golden.
It measures 2 × 6.4 × 0.89 cm at 15 grams, has a passometer error of +/- 5% which is quite little, and is powered by a rechargeable Li-Ion battery to last for up to 8 months if used 8 hours a day.
