This is that kind of cell phone you’ll love. It’s the pink version of the Sanyo Katana Eclipse released this summer at Sprint, which you can read about in our article called Sanyo Katana Eclipse Specs. And now let’s see what the new model brings with.
Katana Eclipse X by SANYO features the One Click user interface from Sprint, the award winner of the Best Overall Product of CTIA Wireless IT & Entertainment 2008, with a unique and eye-catching design created by KYOCERA SANYO Telecom, offered at a price of $99.99 with a 2-year contract and the classic $50 mail-in rebate.

The Hypnotic Pink cell phone is for the ladies, while men can go for the Nightlife Black version, both providing the new One Click interface, as well as one-tap access to the favorite applications such as Google Search.
The phone keeps the 40 different lighting effects customizable for each contact, introduced by the previous model, and also enables high-speed wireless transfers via the Sprint Mobile Broadband Network.
One Click lets you set a lot of things such as personalize the home screen with the features you need most , like Sprint Navigation, email, shortcuts to favorite websites, music and call log, while the carousel-style design of the menu gives you details about each phone’s feature. It combines with Sprint’s services so you to get easy access to the Sprint Music Store, Sprint Radio and the Sprint TV.
Sanyo Katana Eclipse X comes with 256MB internal memory and support for up to 8GB external storage via a microSDHC card.
The Sprint Navigation service helps you to find the best way to your destinations, by providing audible and visual turn-by-turn directions, while Sprint Mobile Email gathers AOL, Yahoo!, Windows Live, Gmail and corporate mail utilities in a single place.
Other elements of the new cell phone include a built-in 1.3MP camera with 12x zoom and camcorder functionality, Bluetooth, music player-dedicated keys, Wireless Backup for your important data, Restrict and Lock data protection, speakerphone, voice messaging, voice-activated dialing, and a 2-inch main display of 65K colors with the additional 1-inch external screen.
Sanyo Katana Eclipse X allows you to keep talking for up to 4.6 hours continuously.
