The largest cell phone manufacturers are designing advanced models taking into account the customers’ needs for high-resolution built-in camera modules, and the first company that released such a cell phone back in October 2007 is LG, with its Viewty featuring 5MP for pictures, which was also the first mobile phone with DivX support.

Another famous cell phone manufacturer launched Samsung SGH-G800 camera phone in December last year, with 5MP resolution but this one is optimized for high-speed transfers through 3G HSDPA reaching 7.2Mbps speeds.
It comes in Titan Grey housing color and sports a 2.4-inch large TFT display with 262K colors and a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, while the entire slider-style handset weights 134 grams at 101.5 x 52 x 18.8 mm.

With the 5MP camera you can capture pictures with autofocus at maximum 2560Ñ…1920 pixels, record videos, zoom 3 times to get a closer capture of the surroundings and shoot in low light environments using the Xenon flash.
Besides providing a high-resolution camera it is also a good music phone with support for MP3, AA, AAC+/e-AAC, and WMA file formats, and stereo FM radio so you can listen to your favorite tunes whenever you like.
The internal memory is of 160MB but you can extend it via a microSD memory card up to 4GB, to have plenty of space for storing all your favorite media including Office or PDF documents, pictures, music and the following video formats: MPEG4, H.264, Real One, 3GPP, H.263.

As connectivity options it has Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP for wireless file sharing with other compatible devices and USB 2.0 for PC connectivity.
Other features include HTML browser, email messaging, RSS reader, downloadable Java games, Speakerphone, Currency Converter, Bluetooth printing, handsfree, voice memo, TV Out and face detection security function, so that only the right user can access the data stored in the cell phone.
It is powered by a Li-Ion battery to last up to 3 hours and 20 minutes of talk time or 220 hours in stand-by mode.
You can find it in stores at prices around $470 but before that i recommend you to read several professional opinions and user reviews about Samsung SGH-G800 on TestFreaks.
