Samsung Anycall Haptic
Posted by: Bogdan Alex in mobile phones

As if we weren’t already overwhelmed with iPhone clones, Samsung announces yet another competitor for Apple’s bestselling phone. Samsung thus presents its premium touchscreen phone codenamed ‘Anycall Haptic’, which will come in the form of two models: SCH-W420 or SPH-W4200. It will be available only for the Korean market at this moment and it boasts an innovative UI.
According to Samsung’s press release, with the implementation of the sensitive UI, the Anycall Haptic phone stimulates the sense of sight and hearing as well as touch so that users feel the phone is somehow responding to their commands. Take for example, raising a volume dial with your finger – this will result in a ticking noise often associated with an actual turning knob, complete with vibrations to enhance the realistic effect. Interactive stuff you got here, Samsung.
Moreover, users can change the UI according to their personal tastes with the on-handset graphic user interfaces. His allows you to create your own desktop menu through a multitude of widgets. Specifically, the Haptic phone offers ‘drag & drop’ and ‘easy access’ to all desired functions.
Other features include a 3.2-inch 16:9 display, Internet full browsing, T-DMB, 2MP camera, Bluetooth 2.0 and a series of other specs that will be revealed on the actual release date. Suggested price is between $715 and $820.
