Progression Watch

I know you just can get enough of watch designs these days, but I say you haven’t seen futuristic watches until you see the latest watch model from Tokyo Flash. The Progression watch doesn’t feature the usual digits, requiring a bit of adaptation to the ingenious hour/minutes system.

Beneath LCD interface are LEDS that come in a variety of colors. With a single touch of the upper button you can illuminate the display in either blue, green, cyan, red, pink or orange to help display the time in an unconventional way. Progression also integrates a “multi-color mode” which sends all six LED colors to the screen in rotation, glowing brightly to highlight the time.

The wristband is made from stainless steel engraved with custom-made textures, as well as featuring a self-adjusting option. Progression continuously displays the exact time on the LCD display so the time can be read immediately. The LED light guide makes this watch specifically useful in low light environments or at night.

Here’s how the hour/minute system works: twelve blocks indicate hours in a clock wise direction and minutes are indicated by the digits in the centre of the circle. The date can be read in a similar way. This design also features a date mode plus an alarm mode to ensure more reliability.
