Posted by: Maria Mihale in Gadgets

Shure Incorporated is a very well known company when it comes to developing headphones that are targeted at the professional segment, and it seems they’ve had a very prolific work session in the past couple of months, because they managed to come up with three different models of professional headphones.

Being especially designed for studio applications, the three models are the SRH840, the SRH440 and the SRH240, joining the family of “professional and home recording equipmentâ€.
Let’s see what each model is able to do. The SRH840, also called Professional Monitoring Headphones, were optimized so that the studio recording, on one hand, and the critical listening, on the other hand, are improved. Having an ergonomic and collapsible design, in order to make it comfortable and portable, the SRH840 headphones feature reference-quality frequency response, rich bass, clear mid-range and extended highs.
The SRH440 Professional Studio Headphones were built in such way that they are able to deliver a very good audio reproduction, being perfect for professional audio equipment such as “DJ mixers, mixing consoles, and headphone amplifiersâ€. As for the SRH240 Professional Quality Headphones, they are able to reproduce “full bass with detailed highsâ€.
The manufacturer’s suggested retail prices are: $199.99 for the SRH840, $99.99 for the SRH440 and $59.99 for the SRH240. The Shure Professional headphones are expected to become available starting this summer.
