Cute and technology don’t seem to have anything in common, if you think about it. But in the past couple of years we’ve had the chance to see all sorts of unusual gadgets that are labeled by their customers as “cute”. MP3 players, speaker systems, cell phones, and the list does not end here.

It’s like there’s a tradition going on out there, in the market, as far as the industry is concerned, but “cute” is a word that we shouldn’t use very much when it comes to this domain. However, Lanchiya has just released a brand new digital device that is pig-shaped and it’s known under the name of MIP. Actually, it was presented at the 2009 edition of the Hong Kong Electronics Fair. This is a multi-media car speaker and it was designed to be just another pig gadget.



When it comes to use the device, users should know that the right ear must be touched in order to raise the volume, while the left one is designed to lower it. On the other hand, there’s a cradle placed on the top of its head. The Pig-shaped speaker system is compatible with Apple products, such as iPods.



Available in three color versions, such as black, pink and yellow, the device can be bought from Amazon for $119.99.
