Peugeot Loop Concept Car

Peugeot Loop Concept Car

Each year, Peugeot organizes a design contest at the end of which the French automotive constructor chooses the most interesting car concepts and sometimes even offers internships to some of the most proficient designers who dared to enter the competition. This year, the participants were numerous and the concepts breathtaking. Designer Abhinav Dapke presented the Loop concept, and although it didn’t win any prize, the prototype sure impressed the Peugeot judges with its way of merging present tendencies and futuristic elements.

YankoDesign informs that the rooftop spreads along the entire length of the body maximizing the active area of the integrated solar panel which acts as a secondary power source. The designer intended it as a family car which has its primary energy source inside a rechargeable lithium battery located at the rear of the vehicle. The materials out of which the car is built are also supposed to be eco-friendly.

The interior offers semi-circular bags placed along the two rows of seats. The bags come with customized options for storage, entertainment and interaction, providing the user with greater flexibility and ease of use. The Loop also integrates a Hi-tech concept camera, embedded within the passenger windows. Whenever anything interesting is seen on the road, passengers touch their window to capture a snapshot.
