Pentax digital camera, now made of titanium
Posted by: Maria Mihale in Gadgets

Due to their impressive spreading, digital cameras are very easy to find and purchase nowadays. They’re something like a dime a dozen, if you know what I mean, and it’s quite impossible for someone to have in mind a certain camera and not to be able to find one on his/her tastes.

The only problem is when we take into consideration the quality / price ratio, which emphasize a very important and unfair aspect: the quality of materials, for example, is not able to justify, most of the times, the hefty prices. Made of cheap plastic or aluminum, or both, these cameras are quite expensive, and you sure know that.
This is why the new Pentax digital camera is just what the doctor ordered, if I may say so, because the substantial price has (finally!) a justification. I’m talking about the exquisite titanium edition of a very well known digital SLR camera of the company, the K20D.

The $1199 camera comes with features that are similar to the old version, such as a 14.6 megapixel CMOS image sensor, a 2.7 inch live-view LCD, image stabilizer and a case design that is resistant to dust and water. Compared to the old K20D, which costs approximately $700, this limited edition version is twice expensive.
There will be only 1,000 units of this Pentax digital camera to be exclusively sold in Japan.
