Pantel outdoor screens, now waterproof
Posted by: Maria Mihale in Gadgets

Actually, if you think about it, when you say outdoor screens you sure have in mind a device that is resistant to water (I mean waterproof), because this should be the main difference between an indoor screen and an outdoor one. Or at least this is my opinion.

Pantel, a company that is specialized in producing and distributing worldwide outdoor TV solutions which are also waterproof, as I said, has just announced three new screens: the 42 inch PAN-420 LCD HDTV, which is fully compliant with 1080p, the 1080p 52 and 65 inch screens.
The innovation these screens bring doesn’t consist only of their waterproof character. They come with the following specs and features: a contrast ratio of 1600:1, a waterproof remote control, one HDMI input, resistant to rain, snow, wind and dust, operability at temperatures from -32 to +145 degrees Fahrenheit, a very bright panel that is designed for both indoor and outdoor use (but it’s perfect when used outside, during the day), a viewing angle of 85/85 degree (H/V) and a material which is anti-glare, anti-reflective and anti-UV.

The Pantel PAN-420 weighs approximately 64.8 lbs. and has a suggested retail price of $4,999.99.
“Now, we offer three outdoor waterproof screen sizes in full 1080p, which now included our upgraded 42 inch model with no added cost to the consumerâ€, said Joe Pantel, the Chief Executive Officer of Pantel Corp. He further explained that “with five screen sizes to choose from, we easily have the most complete outdoor weatherproof LCD HDTV product offering in the business. One can also argue that our product line matches… and in many cases surpasses… many other companies’ indoor LCD HDTV product offerings in both screen size choices as well as performanceâ€.
