Two features seems to make this new product interesting, and the first would be the capability of recording HD motion pictures. The second one is that after you took some photos you can share them with other people using Picasa Web Albums. You can connect to Picasa through a wirelless home network or through T-Mobile HotSpot Service.

If you want the camera to adjust the photos settings for you, you can let Panasonic’s advanced Intelligent Auto do this job for you. Just select this mode and the Auto Mode together with Intelligent LCD function will help you to take the best out of your photo. This new Auto mode will “take care” of Red-eye correction, Intelligent ISO, Face detection, and the LCD’s auto mode will control the brightness level so that taking a pictures will become an easy action for a beginner.

Pricing has been announced at $449.95 US for retail and the product will hit the shelves in May 2008.
