Panasonic introduces its latest Blu-ray Disc called DMP-BD50, and brings in the same time the new BD-Live function that using the Internet improves the user’s experience by employing the VIERA Link technology, which supports VIERA Link-enabled home theater components controlled via a single remote.
The new Blu-ray model from Panasonic not only delivers 1080p image quality, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio and Picture-in-Picture enhancements but also allows the user join multi-player games linked to bonus movie content coming with the Blu-ray discs.

Integrating the PHL Reference Chroma processor and the P4HD i/p conversion processor, Panasonic DMP-BD50 delivers sharp, crisp and natural colors, process at which contributes also the Uniphier digital video processor.
The sound enhancements come from the combination with a 7.1 channel amplifier and speaker for a great surround sound.
There is also an SD Memory Card slot for image transfer from HD camcorders or digital cameras.

With all these features, DMP-BD50 Blu-ray player will be available in stores this spring at a suggested price of $699.95.
