The white balance, exposure and colors are impressive but the image quality is slowly decreasing when it comes to the noise aspect. Unfortunately, the Panasonic 8.1 megapixel Lumix digital camera shows signs of noise even with the lowest sensitivity settings of the ISO 100. When moving up to ISO 400, the noise is starting to increase even more and more details are lost. Even so, it still makes a good choice for people that need a basic digital camera. The 3.2 inches display is an AMOLED capacitive touch screen that offers support for 256K colors and it comes with a native resolution of 240 x 400 pixels. The internal memory of this phone is 190 MB but is this is not enough, maybe a micro SD card which can extend the memory of the phone up to 16 GB will do the trick. The 3.15 MP camera included on this cell phone features geo-tagging and face detection and it can take pictures at a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1526 pixels.

The Samsung Impression has a MP3 / WAV /e-AAC+ / WMA / AMR player and a MP4 / 3G player as well, along with other functions like voice memo and a photo plus video editor. The battery performance of this cell phone is less amazing as it can only keep the unit on for about 3 hours of talk time and approximately 250 hours in standby mode. If I were to choose a cool mp3 player with an unique and pleasant design, one of my first choices would be the Kingston K-PEX. This player is available in the 1 GB version which costs $130 and the 2 GB version which is priced at $180. This is more than a simple mp3 player, it is a digital player and you will understand in this review why we call it like that.

But, in the end, performance is the most important factor because it is of no use having an mp3 player that comes with a lot of interesting features if the audio playback function turns out to be awful. This is why we are happy to inform you that buying this player is going to turn out a very good choice. Not only is audio playback great, but the TFT display of the player is going to show great picture and awesome videos as well. Battery performance is also important because it is, in the end, a portable mp3 player. If battery life is not good, why not stick to just listening to music on your laptop?

Well, we are going to bring great news at this chapter as well. Lab test have revealed a 15 hours playback performance for the Kingston K-PEX mp3 player which is more than enough to get your though some of your longest trips. Hmmm…. So it is cheap, good looking, powerful and with decent battery life… what more could we ask for?
