Nokia N96 Unveiled at Mobile World Congress

The Nokia N96 dual slider was finally unveiled during Mobile World Congress 2008 with the full specifications.
The multimedia computer is optimized for web video and Mobile TV being equipped with a large display of 2.8 inches having a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and 16 million colors capability, on which you can watch high quality MPEG4, Windows Media and Flash video files.

It has a large memory of 16 GB and it is extendable up to 24GB with a microSD card type, where you store all your pictures captured with the built-in 5MP camera with Carl Zeiss lens, flash and autofocus.
The maximum picture resolution is of 2592 x 1944 pixels.
There is also the secondary VGA camera for video calling.
Nokia N96 is a powerful multimedia handheld with GPS tracking, stereo FM radio with RDS, USB 2.0, TV out, a 3.5 mm jack out, 3G and 3G support.

The manufacturer offers via Nokia N96 its Video Center service which allows you to access a large range of mobile video services such as YouTube, SonyPictures and others, as well as Nokia Maps application with world’s largest cities maps and satellite images.
It is supposed to be available at a price of around $750 in Q3 2008 but we can’t be sure until the next Nokia press release.

Other features of this mobile handheld include GPRS Class 32 for up to 64.2 kbps speeds, HSCSD, EDGE Class 32, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, UPnP technology, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, microUSB, e-mail, instant messaging, HTML, RSS reader, A-GPS, document viewer, push to talk, and a Li-Ion power source battery of 950 mAh for up to 3 hours and 40 minutes of operating time.
