New Trend: Church Worship Services Streamed Live over the Internet
Posted by: Sierra Monica B. in News

In September, Community Church of Joy in Glendale, Arizona, the worship services started to be streamed live over the Internet, every Sunday morning, intending “to help people feel a connection", as Mark Sorensen, the website’s supervisor said.

This kind of websites has evolved in time, managing to reach those people that don’t have the custom to go to church every Sunday, preferring the comfort of their homes.
Churches that stream their services live are bringing the church in people’s homes by emphasizing some key points on their websites: the color schemes, the formatting, the language, the music - those things powerfully reveal who they (in the church) want to come there and who's going to be accepted there," as Tom Bandy, president of Easum Bandy & Associates, a church consultancy, says.
Statistics show a percent of 82 of the churches having 200 devoted visitors have websites.
