The new service launched by Free Rider Web Hosting called Protected Registration is meant to protect domain names at a cost of $29.95 per year and consists of 5 protection levels.
These levels protect against domain transferring and in the same time provide relevant information to the Internet users searching for information about the domain.
Domain Ownership Protection is in charge with keeping the domain up for one year after the owner stops renewing it, and during this time the domain will point to a parked page until the owner renews it.
Deadbolt Transfer Protection is a full protection layer against accidental and malicious transfers, maintaining the domain locked in the account offering the highest level of security, unlike regular domain locking that occurs at the registry level.
Ownership Protection Reports releases the annual domain status report and email updates, while Private Registration allows customers to register their domains via Domains by Proxy, which displays the information when someone searches data related to the domain, keeping customer’s information private.
Business Registration is the last protection level that lets customers choose which information to display when someone searches for the domain, and these include website, phone number and hours of operation.
Simon Drain, CEO of Free Rider Web Hosting, was proud to announce the releasing of this new service declaring that "The Protected Registration service is one of the most comprehensive tools we have seen for ensuring that a domain remains in the customer's ownership and provides useful information for people searching for details on the domain. Protected Registration is sure to be an invaluable service for both new and existing customers."
