New Samsung Cleo Optimized for Texting on Phone

Samsung launched a new fashionable cell phone designed for women, with a high similarity with LG Lotus, another cool cell phone made available in September at Sprint.
Samsung Cleo is offered exclusively at Bell, Canada's largest communications company, at a price of $299.95 without contract, $99.95 with a 2-year contract, or $49.95 with the 3-year contract.

Same as LG Lotus, Samsung Cleo is destined to people who need texting on phone while on the go, to keep in touch with friends, using the stylish-designed QWERTY keypad revealed when the clamshell opens. It comes in 3 elegant colors – pink, champagne and yellow – integrating a 1.3MP digital camera, MP3 player and up to 8GB external memory support, all in a compact and slim form factor.

"The CLEO is a great cellphone capturing a uniquely elegant combination of form and function," said Adel Bazerghi, Senior Vice President of Products at Bell. "Along with text messaging our clients will love using the QWERTY keyboard to send picture messages and email, and access their favorite social
networking sites."

With the occasion of the upcoming holidays, Samsung and Bell decided to offer the new handset together with a beauty accessory set consisting of a decorative phone charm, a Cake Kiss mulberry sorbet lip butter, and 15% discount coupon for Cake Beauty products.

While in Canada people speak English and French, Cleo comes with support for both languages, in addition to dual-band, Backup Manager, Windows Live Messenger, Windows Live Hotmail, mobile email, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, speakerphone, and support for downloadable ringtones, wallpapers, games and applications.
