New Italian law That Would Limit the Bloggers Rights

New Italian law That Would Limit the Bloggers RightsIn Italy, there is a new law written by Ricardo Franco Levi, undersecretary to the President of the Council, saying that anyone who has a blog or website, even if they don’t make money with it, have to register it with the Communications Authority, in order to start paying taxes.

This means that if you want to remain in the blogging zone you are obligated to have or belong to a publishing company and have registered journalists.

The law passed the Council of Ministers on 12 October, and now lies on the Parliament’s desk, waiting to become a law.

We can easily rumor and say that maybe the government will be satisfied that will stop writing daring things about them on websites.
Or, let’s say that one of the possible good parts of this will be the fact that we’ll read only true and accurate news.
