New Headphones Eliminate One of the Main Hearing Loss Reasons

If we talk about gaming accessories, especially those designed to help you stay focused during long hours of gaming, we have to mention that one of the most important aspects is the headphones model we choose, which has to be ergonomic and keep the sounds only for us, without bothering the others around. The only problem is that listening to sounds for an hour a day consists one of the main hearing loss reasons, even if we use the best headphones on the market. That’s why Able Planet created a new type of headphones that minimize this problem without to sacrifice performance and overall quality.
PS500MM is a high-fidelity multimedia headset for computer gamers who need easy access to sounds controls, built-in microphone for in-game chat, cool look and an affordable price.
The headphones use the Linx Audio technology that keeps the same sounds details at lower volume levels, eliminating the one of the main hearing loss reasons, which is listening to audio via headphones, according to statistics and researches.
In addition, the new model features noise cancellation in the microphone and is lightweight, at just 2.64 oz, while measuring 5.62 x 5.43 x 1.96 inches.
You can connect the Able Planet PS500MM headset either wirelessly using the USB adapter, or wired with the included 3.5-mm jack. It is available at a price of $99 with extended wear leather ear cups and a soft carrying pouch.
This month, Able Planet is releasing also the 2.5-mm version, called TL300, for Xbox fans.
We’ll have to wait a little longer for the full specs list and pictures with the original model.
"We designed this innovative new headset specifically with PC gamers in mind,†said Able Planet’s chairman and CEO Kevin Semcken. "Gamers tend to spend significant periods of time playing online games and such extended play of rich multimedia sounds puts a cumulative strain on the ears this can cause hearing loss and fatigue. Our technology minimizes this risk so that users no longer have to turn up the volume just to be able to drown out background noise."
