In my opinion, the Panasonic compact digital cameras are the best for professional amateurs, even if they are compact and available at affordable prices.
Recently, the company has introduced two new models in the FS series, one featuring a 12MP sensor and a 10MP model.

The two cameras come in vivid blue and eye-catching green with the latest Panasonic technologies for the clearest and most natural looking photos you could take.
They feature the Intelligent Auto Mode introduced last year by the LZ8 model, which is a very reliable solution for automatic selection of camera settings and adjustment according to the scene conditions. This mode gathers all and sets the MEGA O.I.S, Intelligent ISO Control, Face Detection and Scene Selector. When you don’t know how to set the camera in a sunny day near the lake, or just don’t have time to do that, this mode will never disappoint you.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS15 is the 12.1MP digital camera with 29mm wide-angle Leica DC VARIO-ELMAR lens, 5x optical zoom, AF Tracking included in the Intelligent Auto Mode, Intelligent Exposure, and others.
The other model, Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS7 of 10.1MP comes with bright F2.8 Leica DC VARIO-ELMARIT lens, 4x optical zoom, and the iA mode described earlier.



Both Panasonic compact digital cameras feature the Venus Engine IV processor, an LCD screen with light detector and self adjustment, the Photo Frame mode, new My Scene setting, WVGA recording capability at 848 x 480 pixels and 30 frames per second, and much more.

They will be available in March for $199.95 for the 12.1MP model and $159.95 for the 10.1MP camera.
