Mp3 Player History
Posted by: Adina in mp3 player

What exactly does an MP3 player refer to? It is a digital device that has a patent digital audio encoding format and that uses a form of lossy data compression. While it is the common audio format for all the audio players, it is mostly used on MP3 players usage.
While going public with the MP3 player discovery was later on made, the mp3 player history goes way beyond. It dates from the early days of 1894, when it was stated that a tone could render inaudible by using another tone of lower frequency. This was stated by Alfred Marshall Mayer. This format of music was designed by the Moving Pictures Experts Group, as a part of their MPEG – 1 standard format.
This statement was continued by Richard Ehmer in 1959, when he started describing a lot of auditory curves that characterized this phenomenon. The first ever masking codec that was supposed to be used in making the MP3 sound was proposed in 1979 in a publication from the United States. After years of hard work, the MP3 finally was invented by collaboration between the Karlheinz Branderburg and James D Johnston.

The actual MP3 player is a gadget that plays MP3 songs. Some of them have as well image viewing and video support, but this is not what they were firstly made for. the first ever MP3 player was made back in the 1979, by Kane Kramer and that gadget hold for about 3.5 minutes long of playing. Though there were made many tries, the first ones, did not enter on the market as they did not believe that they were usable enough.
The mp3 player history can be said that it starts with the first company ever that released on the market the first MP3 player. That company’s name is Audio Highway and was under the management of Nathan Schulhof. 1996 is the year they first released it. They put his name, the “listen up player” and in the middle ages of 1997 it began to be shipped all the way through the entire America.
The next MP3 player released was one made by the Saehan Information Systems Company, from the South Korea, that began selling its “MPMan” mp3 player. After this, the mp3 player history begins taking wings, therefore, companies such as Compaq, Creative, Apple, Archos, began releasing their own view of MP3 players. Nowadays this is a very productive filed and a lot of producers began investing into improvement and into creating new MP3 players systems.

The most known MP3 players’ producers nowadays are Samsung, SanDisk, Toshiba, Nokia, and others. While some in buying an MP3 player think most of the time of money and eventually think about the quality it comes with and the technology it uses, such companies like Toshiba or Samsung, provide very good quality products at a reasonable price. Anyhow, as technology has evolved a lot and keeps on evolving, as more and more come up on the market, the old ones, will be forgotten and provided with a lower price.
This is what technology made from us and on appreciates it just as much. Anyhow, there is not such a difficult and costly thing to purchase one MP3 player at your own will. There are both online stores and offers as well as offers at the official distributors. In providing the suitable one, you must know exactly how money you dispose of and what will you need it for. after this you may start your search. Rather than the new ones, if you do not dispose of too much money, one can always choose the refurbished or used ones.
