Motorola AURA Luxury Cell Phones
Posted by: Sierra Monica B. in mobile phones

Motorola Aura is a unique mobile handset announced at the end of October and prepared for the release this quarter worldwide, featuring the world’s first 16-million color circular display of 300dpi resolution, 62-carat sapphire crystal lens for scratch-resistance, with the entire unit encased in stainless steel for extra durability, which also houses over 700 individual components.

It is not a slider, clamshell nor bar-styled cell phone, but uses an assisted-opening blade mechanism for the display unit.
AURA luxury cell phones’ design is meant to inspire those timeless luxury watches and the handsets are handcrafted in Switzerland.
Motorola likes to compare the way you open the AURA with the way you open a luxury car’s door, thinking of the rotating mechanism of the phone that uses 200 individual parts and special coating encountered at the top racing cars.

Features of these unique luxury cell phones include 7.3 hours of talk time, 400 hours of standby, quad-band support for all world’s frequencies, EDGE, GPRS, stereo Bluetooth, Enhanced Data Rate, A2DP profile, open source web browser, no less than 2GB user memory, built-in 2MP digital camera with fixed focus, multimedia player and email messaging.
You can perform lots of operations on it watching the 1.55-inch LCD display.

“AURA is Motorola’s latest endeavor into the high-tier mobile device space and is the result of our continued inspiration to innovate in design, imagination and state-of-the-art handcraftsmanship,†said Jim Wicks, corporate vice president and director of Consumer Experience Design, Mobile Devices, Motorola. “From the moment AURA owners hold their phones, they elevate their own experience in luxury and unmatched quality.â€
It seems an incredible stylish cell phone destined to men mostly and we’re curious to discover the price.
