Molded Mouse

This one is called Swiftpoint and was designed by Simtrix, a company headquartered in New Zeeland, focused on creating the best mice solutions for your notebook.

Starting with the idea of designing the perfect shaped mouse with the best ergonomics in the smallest form possible, Simtrix came out with an innovative project that became reality and is available in two models: Slider and TriPed.

To fit mobility and home media center living room environments, Swiftpoint Slider is using the keyboard surface as a large mouse pad and slides over its keys, making it the best tool for small environments like trains cabins, airplane seats and others similar, where a mouse pad and a standard laptop mouse would be an inconvenient.

Slider is also based on the latest technologies such as intuitive hardware based multi-directional perpetual scrolling and zooming as well as built-in writing and drawing capabilities.
The tests showed that its speed and accuracy increased with 30%-40% compared with the use of touch pads.

The other solution is Swiftpoint TriPed, a mouse destined to those that use Tablet PCs or multi-touch screens, meant to complete the limited functionality of a pen, such as pointing and text entry.
TriPod brings enhance document navigation via Nib Point Perpetual Scrolling.

It can also be used with desktop computers with its ergonomic, multi-functional interface with intuitive design, reducing the risk of work related upper limb disorders or occupational overuse syndrome injuries and providing greater accuracy.
TriPed mouse supports Digital Ink feature brought by Windows Vista operating system for handwriting and drawing via the digitizer pen, while featuring the same advanced technology as the Slider, multi-directional 'perpetual scrolling and zooming', a hardware based capability.
