Posted by: Sierra Monica B. in Gadgets

IP cameras are those used in video surveillance and work with open Internet protocols, as a good option for reducing costs due to low-cost cabling in large installations, adding functionality, having the possibility of open-platform video recording hardware and software.
They are flexible and come with support for plenty of standards and multi-megapixel image resolutions beyond NTSC, PAL and SECAM, using the pan/tilt/zoom functions on the same cable.

And these are just a few benefits of using an IP camera.
SouthWing is always focused on innovation in intelligent wireless devices and applications of mobile operators industry, and now it comes out with the world’s IP camera capable of transmitting data via cable/DSL, Wi-Fi, and 3GPP wireless networks directly to a 3G mobile phone, PDA, laptop, or PC anywhere in the world.
LiveEye has 3G wireless broadband router functionality to allow users access the Internet even if there is a power outage or network failure, as well as motion/audio detection to send the user alerts on the 3G-enabled mobile phone or via e-mail.
The infrared night vision permits the surveillance even in dark conditions.
