LG is one of this edition’s honoree, receiving no less than 14 CES 2009 Innovations Awards in seven categories, including CES 2009 "Best of Innovations" in the wireless handset and home appliances categories. Other categories in which LG stands out with the latest gadgets in technology are: video displays, video components, home theater speakers, computer accessories and audio components. All the awarded gadgets are chosen by a panel of industry designers, engineers and journalists.

Now let’s know LG’s honorees better and for that, we can start with the Video Displays Category, where the 55-inch Class Full HD 1080p Slim LED Backlight LCD delivers high-performance LED backlight technology, High Definition and a large viewing area in a 24-mm thin unit.
The other product in the same category is the LG Triple-View Monitor created for digital signage applications, with a 47-inch diagonal, which practically displays three images in full High Definition, depending on the users’ positions in front of the monitor.

In the Video Components Category LG received a honoree for its BD300 Network Blu-ray Disc Player, which is known as the world’s first Blu-ray disc player capable of streaming movies and TV shows from Netflix in real-time. This enables an outstanding networked home video entertainment experience.
The Network Streaming Service-Ready Blu-ray Disc Home Theater System, model named LHT974, is a cool solution for home entertainment providing access to multiple content sources, such as Blu-ray discs, BD-live and Netfix Instant Streaming. It is a honoree in the Home Theater Speakers Category.

For those in searching for a high-end wireless communication gadget, LG offers a variety of products to choose from. The first would be the famous Verizon LG Dare VX9700, an advanced cell phone with built-in 3.2MP camera that supports camcorder functionality. The handset allows you to edit pictures and play different media file types on its large 3-inch display with touch-sensitivity, while recognizing your handwriting.
