LG Cell Phone

The Versa is an LG cell phone which is, in fact, more of a smartphone as it has a beautiful QWERTY keyboard. This candy bar LG cell phone uses an animated Flash interface which is very user friendly and you can even customize the home menu in 3 different ways.

This cell phone comes with a 2.0 megapixel camera, full HTML web browsing and stereo Bluetooth capability. With 4.17 x 2.07 x 0.54 inches in dimension, this cell phone is not only practical, but it’s also good looking. On the front side you will notice a 3 inch touch screen and, underneath it, the Call, Clear, End Call and Power buttons (which are, in fact, only 3 keys).

The left side of this phone hosts a 2.5 mm headset jack, a camera shortcut key, the volume keys and the zoom feature for the camera, the sliding latch which is useful for attaching modules and the USB and charger port as well. The right side of the phone hosts the microSD card slot and the top panel hosts the lock and unlock key which will put the screen is stand-by mode in order to prevent you dialing random number by accident.

The keypad module has to be attached to the phone. The built-in accelerometer has a sensor which will automatically switch the phone’s display from portrait to landscape mode. The 2.0 megapixel camera can take pictures at the following resolutions: 1600 x 1200 pixels, 1280 x 960 pixels, 800 x 400 pixels, 640 x 480 pixels and 320 x 240 pixels. The images may not the best ones ever seen but the quality is acceptable for you to take pictures and immortalize some of those special vacation moments. With the included stylus pen you can edit photos and make them funny by drawing mustaches or other things on your pictures. The 2.0 megapixel webcam can also record videos at the 176 x 144 pixels, 320 x 240 pixels and 640 x 240 pixels resolutions. It can record videos of maximum 1 hour and it can play others in the 3GP, WMV, MP4 and 3G2. The screen is absolutely impeccable. The 3 inch display comes in a native resolution of 480 x 240 pixels and it uses 262,000 colors. The touch screen will provide you with positive tactile feedback and beautiful colors, great images and cool visual effects.

The LG Versa has the capacity of storing 998 speed dial contact (I wonder if anyone has ever used that feature at its maximum capacity) and it can store 1000 phonebook entries. It comes with all the basic features of a cell phone like the calendar, calculator, drawing pad, icon glossary, and alarm clock. It also has some demo versions of quite popular games like Monopoly and Need for Speed. With the included 1,100 mAh battery, this cell phone will stay on for about 430 hours when it is in stand-by mode and about 290 when you use it. The price is a bit spicy though, because if you buy this unit without a contract, you have to pay $450.
