Learn Ballroom Dance Steps with Your iPhone

I know that learning ballroom dance steps at home is not easy as you need a large space with mirrors, a big display with video lessons and, of course, a partner, but if you are attending classes and forget some steps specific to a dance style you may use the new application launched for the iPhone by Ballroom Dance Channel.

This is the first interactive ballroom dance steps lesson application and is available for download on Apple’s App Store, featuring lessons from famous dancers from Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance.

You may learn basic steps of Rumba, Salsa, Waltz and Samba for $0.99 or advanced steps combinations for just $4.99.

“We have seen an amazing resurgence in the popularity of ballroom dance, and wanted to take advantage of the unique platform that the iPhone provides to reach fans all over the world,” said Scott Flacks, COO Ballroom Dance Channel. “Building on the success of our Web site, we are excited to offer the world’s only ballroom dance mobile application. iPhone users can practice basic steps anytime, anywhere on their mobile phones for less than a dollar.”
