JayBird JB-200

JayBird JB-200

I don’t usually use headphones since I sit like 2m away from my PC, but some situations call for extreme measures that involve such devices. I can get a pair of headphones with a longer cord or maybe I can afford a wireless pair. I think wireless would suit me better, though I hear that some pairs have problems with the Bluetooth spectrum. I really need something comfortable, that doesn’t put pressure on my ears, and no, I don’t like ear buds! Looks like JayBird got some interesting products.

The latest wireless headphones from JayBird are the JB-200, which feature complete AVRCP music/call controls, an improved fit (25-percent narrower ear-tip), better sound isolation, higher-grade silicon tips, boosted bass performance and a 1-inch longer behind-the-neck cord.

Quite impressive, and I can use these with my cellphone too. What about players? If I happen to have an A2DP-compatible device, you can use a Bluetooth Adapter for iPod or the Bluetooth adapter for MP3 functions with a large variety of DAPs or PMPs.

As far as autonomy goes, a full charge can provide around 5.5-hours of music listening time, 6.5-hours of talk time and 110-hours in standby mode. The headphones-only pack costs $129.99, while the player adapters add in an extra $30. Not that cheap…
