Infection Watch
Posted by: Bogdan Alex in News

Haven’t seen some striking watch designs ever since I presented the URWERK UR-202 watch. Even that one had something familiar about it. What I really want to see is some wacky intuitive design that doesn’t take much time to figure out. How about the Infection watch?
The display implements 27 multi-colored LEDs that pulsate and move like cells across the curved face to present the time in an intuitive way from beneath the attractive mirrored mineral crystal lens.
The Infection also features a matching leather band and stainless steel clasp. But how exactly are we supposed to read time with this one? As you can see in the diagram, 12 red LEDs indicate hours, eleven yellow LEDs represent the progression of time with each yellow LED standing for 5 minutes, plus there’s a group of 4 green LEDs that show single minutes. With s single touch of the upper button you animate the LEDs, while a single touch of the lower button shows the time immediately.
You can find the Infection watch on TokyoFlash at a price of $134.
