I-grow Concept

It is too late to gather those all funny memories since you were a child, like your first drawings, first stories written in school or the pictures of you while in your mother’s tummy before birth.
But maybe for the future generations it would be very easy to do this by using this I-grow PC concept.

Wouldn’t you like to have a personal computer capable of storing all about your baby’s growing until the adult age, allowing him/her to communicate with other children, learn new things, play online and access the world’s largest database?
Such a computer might be called I-grow and would be the first computer of a user, optimized for recording all the information starting the day of birth and adapting to his/her behaviors and style to become the most personal companion.

It could also be a monitor tool for the parents so they’ll always know how their children are feeling, what their talents are, so they can help in providing all the necessities required for the children’s progress.

I grow Concept

I-grow is conceived as a fun, colorful mobile device equipped with the newest technologies, in one single A3-sized foldable computer.
The child can easily access the computer as it comes with a very friendly interface based on image symbols, and can use it to draw, write and contact other friends or family members from any place: home, park, school.

I-grow has two bars and a flexible color display with touch-sensitivity, while the built-in camera is situated on one bar, where the designer places also the speaker, a wireless module for data transfer and recharging, for a battery that lasts up to 12 hours of use.
From the same bar you could slide the display in and out using a special button, while the PC is powered on immediately after sliding the screen out, and the heat is dissipated via several small holes in the bar.

To not injure the child, the bars are made of a combination of durable material and silicon rubber, and for easy carrying it can be placed in a special designed case.
Parents would have access to all the information recorded via a home server where the data is transmitted wirelessly from I-grow.

In conclusion, this is a personal computer destined for a small and limited sector market, but its features are very useful and not hard to realize.
