HTC Fuze Among the New Phones for AT&T

Yet another mobile handset from HTC, this time available via American AT&T telecommunication carrier, with high-speed 3G wireless access. The new HTC Fuze comes equipped for intensive texting on phone while on the go and multimedia access for a great entertainment experience. This slider version of the HTC Touch Diamond, bringing the famous interactive TouchFLO 3D user interface, provides a full QWERTY keyboard that slides out whenever you need to get in touch with friends online via the chat application, or when it’s time to read the latest worldwide news.

With a finger slide you can activate the basic applications like email, messaging, music player and 3.2MP digital camera with video recording.
You can also use zooming functions for the web content enabled via the popular Opera browser designed for mobile phones. These are performed on the large 2.8-inch touch-sensitive display supporting up to 262K colors and having a resolution of 480 x 640 pixels.

With the AT&T 3G network access enabled on the new HTC Fuze, you may share live video wirelessly using the Video ShareSM service available in the United States, and make voice calls.
In addition to the Push To Talk technology, which allows you to contact a group of subscribers simultaneously, the handset features also Wi-Fi G support, Bluetooth 2.0 with Enhanced Data Rate for connectivity to six compatible devices, and built-in AGPS that works with the AT&T Navigator from TeleNav to let you find locations of interest.

AT&T offers the HTC Fuze at a price of $299 with a 2-year contract and the $50 mail-in rebate, which reduces $200 from its full cost.

“The HTC FUZE is a great illustration of AT&T’s commitment to innovation and choice,” said Michael Woodward, vice president, Smart Devices for AT&T’s wireless unit. “The HTC FUZE, with its array of connectivity features, provides our customers with the ability to choose the manner in which they communicate using the form factor they deem most appropriate at a given moment — all in a very attractive and sleek package. It’s a fantastic addition to AT&T’s industry-leading Windows Mobile smartphone portfolio.”
