Well, you can forget for a while about how to do call forwarding on your phone, which involves a few simple steps for setting up the handset in order to redirect all or some of the incoming calls to another cell phone number.
You can test a new free online service provided by www.PersonalNumber.com, which will do everything for you on this matter.

Announced on September 25, the service is available to users in the United Kingdom and United States, who can create a unique phone number with the UK prefix +44, and redirect all the incoming calls to up to 5 phone numbers.
It is the world’s first free call forwarding service for cell phones and works by allowing you to create an account on the website in order to receive the unique Global phone number, after which you can enter up to 5 different mobile numbers used in UK or US.

The service is free and only the callers will have to spend 13 pence per minute peak, 6 pence per minute in the evenings, and 5p per minute at the weekends for calling you. The calls are included in the UK bundled minutes, depending on their telecommunication carrier, and can be forwarded to your voicemail.
In addition, PersonalNumber provides an optional prepaid Global SIM card for when you travel abroad and need to receive calls wherever you go, in more than 50 countries across Europe, Australia and Middle East.

This service claims to be cheaper than what other similar have to offer, and I think it is great for when you have to separate business from entertainment activities.

What we don’t know is how reliable this service is, because we’ve found only an email address for contact and no phone number or physical address.
